Shimano Stradic 19
Re: Shimano Stradic 19
Thank You.
They can't seem to make their mind up on the line roller design. All the latest Twinpower, Sustain, Stella use the pressed in bearing integrated line roller. I'm sure you can swap out to replaceable bearing as long as you add the necessary parts to go along with it.

I think you may have found it being a lot of complaints or even warranties carried out. I was just replacing with a FI Stella line roller as required... This new design is a step back into the old rebuild-able design and change parts as needed.
Positive move imho.

And once again Shimano USA denies us the option to purchase the standard gear ratio option(not HG or XG) on all 5 sizes . Just saw the Shimano USA website and the sizes and gear options.

Re: Shimano Stradic 19
We only get the HG here in Aus.
Would've rathered the PG myself - hate the HG reels personally.

No big improvements imo. I'll be keeping the two FK's that I use for inshore.
Maybe a new Certate when I get the itch.

Yep. Ordered all my 3000- 4000 FK PG from Japan. Got a 3000 FL in 5.0:1 from Malaysia for $165 shipped 3 weeks ago. I don't give a damn about Shimano USA now. If I need pinion or main gear, I'll just order from Plat.

I don't know why they ever took it off the market to begin with. It's a aluminum bodied Nasci.

John Dunphy was a man of the fishing industry well before his time...
