Where did they dig up this relic ?

Post by uljersey » Fri Sep 06, 2019 3:41 pm

WallyWorld dump box full of Yo-Zuri stuff, the majority of it salt water baits. These are the only two of their kind so I grab 'em.
I'm referring to the one on the right in particular as I have not seen that style packaging for Yo-Zuri in quite some time now. That's a blast from the past. Notice the "QW" designation on the Duel's label, it stands for "Quiet Wave" as it's a silent bait. It's Yo-Zuri brother has rattles. I didn't catch on to that until I got them home and really looked them over good.

I bet they get bit 8-)

I have a few of those. They have caught me a lot of fish over the yrs. Just change out those hooks, as they bend out easily.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Those are my #1 Snook bait in the Springtime. Great little flatsiders. We have the same junk box of yo zuris at Walmart but they never have those.

Those flat side cranks make me think of a less expensive version of a megabass flap slap.Might have to get me some of both

Old school, and most new school Yo Zuri lures are great. There was another version of the original Rattlin Vibe... It was a little more expensive, had some matte paint jobs, and a killer looking set of eyeballs. Also a lipless crank. Can't recall the name atm.

I think it was called the hardcore vibe. Old school model.

IMO, Yo-Zuri makes an excellent lipless crankbait. I’d put them up there against virtually any one on the market. They do need to bring back the silent Vibe though, that thing is the ticket at times.
