Thanks, you know I figure if I'm going to get skunked, I might as well look good doing it.

Right?? I don't think they're actually any lighter than corks, especially with those caps, but they do look good. I like the way they feel when finesse fishing. They seem more adept at transmitting vibrations.

IP68 with TD Zillion HLC spool. 65# S8S V2. Before and after. I can spool a lot of reela on the cast with a Terminator Walking Frog but this reel will INSTANTLY empty the spool with a no effort two handed over the shoulder cast. I can make the laziest two handed cast and it will insta-dump the spool. This spool is fast. DO NOT try and pitch or roll cast it though. If you roll cast hard enough you might be alright but pitches are doomed to failure.

SV Light 8.1 TN Limited. I added a custom-painted Steez nose piece, an IS73 drag star and a black handle nut. Whoever decided to put that Tatula Type R zaion drag star on it should be shot, beaten, stabbed and burned imho. That drag star has no place on a reel this nice!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
I wondered whether it was the Tatula type or Zillion type. I think it would look nice with that red SLP long arm drag star, but you also have to get the square nut and spring to make it work. If it will work.hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 10:59 amSV Light 8.1 TN Limited. I added a custom-painted Steez nose piece, an IS73 drag star and a black handle nut. Looking good, Tony and Tim!
Tim, you'll probably cringe at some of these photos with the Zaion drag stars~

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
Thanks, Alain! That SS is looking sweet with all those blue parts. I wish I would've taken better care of mine. I stupidly let it get scratched. Not all the way through the paint, at least, but still. Buy covers for your reels, kids!

Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
Those colored SLP zaion stars look just fine, Alain. It sort of irks me to see the stock plastic star on the Steez SV TW, though. Here is my Steez, with a Steez A handle and smooth black cork knobs, Ray's Studio cc cap and and a PX-R drag star.
