Still not sure why I make the cast when the bombs start to drop all around me  Mullet were actually jumping in my kayak when these wrecking balls came through! 842 Conquest/Stile SS getting the job done as usual, but he destroyed my Flash Minnow this time

Love a good hook set shot. 842 NRX sinking that jig hook in an 8lb redfish.

And a sweet shot to end a great day of fishing. No filters necessary

With Tropical Storm whatever clearing out, we had clouds and strong North winds all day today. Perfect time to go throw a Chatterbait at the river! Caught my biggest slam(1 redfish, 1 trout, 1 flounder)ever, 19lbs, with this guy helping bump that weight up. Biggest flounder I have caught, and he straight up crushed the Break Blade! Huge surprise

Couple more chatterbait reds from the river. The bites are ridiculous, sooo aggressive! Thump, set hook, line goes slack cutting grass as the fish runs at you, reel as fast as you can to try to catch up, finally bow up into immediate drag ripping. So much fun!

Caught around 20 yesterday, with the bottom one being the most beautiful I have seen with that orange glow!

Thanks man, love these color differences in redfish depending on water clarity/bottom color. The second one was on some orange clay bottom, and it was glowing! Perfect little pumpkin just in time for Halloween.

Our tradition is that of the first who sneaked away to the creek when tribe did not really need fish

Nice fish!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

This is the best fish I've caught this year. I usually get one close to or at double-digits each year, but I have no complaints! I lost one on a jig last week around the same size, and was thinking I might not even get over the 5# hump this year. She was just under 7lbs on a Lucky Craft Bevy crank 2.3 gram crankbait. SS Air on a custom ulm Immortal, spiral-wrapped right with 8# Sufix Nanobraid. The Cabontex did its job. She wore herself out in about 2 minutes. Took a couple pics and back she went. It was a lot of fun!
