I'll have to give it a whirl. I've heard a few people say they didn't care for it.

Where did you get the Siege from?hoohoorjoo wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 4:43 pmI'm a fan of Sufix myself, but I didnt like the Advance. I will stick with Siege. The 8# Seige tested out at 12.2# breaking strength in independent lab tests, and I know from personal experience that you almost can't break off with 17# when you snag a stump on bottom. I partially straightened the hook on a Hack Attack jig with the 17# line once.

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I tried out Advance last winter in 10lb and 12 lb to allow for fishing at near freezing temps without the icing that occurs with braid. I had no issues at all with it, but I sprayed it liberally with KVD L&L the night before each outing. It's strong. No weird break-offs. Pickerel nicked it up, but no bite offs. That was just good fortune though. The diameter runs large for the test. I just spooled up some 8lb (.011") on my Tat. It handles well for me.
