This is the way.
Hey how do those SLP grips feel? Are they hard or soft?
The SLPW silver knobs have a harder/slicker coating than the red or blue RCS knobs. They are shaped the same. I had to try the silver knobs because they look great on lots of different Daiwa's. They are sweet to look at. Unfortunately, they are a little too slick for me. I prefer the SLPW Super-High Grip knobs.

I had the silver and the yellow ones. Neither set felt any slicker than clear or black RCS cork knobs to me.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I don't know if the black RCS knobs are clear coated the same way as the red and blue knobs. The one set of black RCS knobs that I own feel slicker to me. My black and clear RCS knobs have gotten shiny with lots of use. My red knobs appear to have a softer coating over the red paint. They have never gotten shiny with use. The red knobs definitely have more grip than my clear and black RCS. My silver SLPW knobs came shiny and slick out of the box. My red knobs could be an anomaly, but there is definitely a difference.

Sweet arsenal! I'm going to do the same thing here after my winter cleaning is done. Which ones are your favorites?

Hard to say. I like pretty much all of them. The Viento is disappointing. It is much more refined than the MegaForce Plus it replaced, but the MegaForce had a much better spool and more appropriate gear ratio. The T3 MX has a gear problem and sticks on retrieve with any sort of significant force on the line, so it doesn't get used. The OG Zillion and Zillion TWS SV are both fantastic. The Steez and IS don't impress me that much for what they cost.

They're hard like any other I knob, but they have a glossy surface that feels grippier to me. Haven't fished them yet, though.

So much eye candy there Dom! That Deps caused a double take. I’ve thought about that one for a while; that combo is straight dope. But as per usual good stuff all around

Right on! You know that Deps got hated on right out of the gate for the two different color reds. In person I like it a lot more. Plus the gear ratio is awesome for big paddletails and other big baits I like to reel faster. Also it comes with a 100 mm carbon handle. I got a great deal on mine around $415 nib off the big auction site.

Dom - What's the PG spool like in the new Zillion?

It’s great in that reel. I was skipping a Texas rigged worm with it and it felt very loose but no backlash with no thumb. Definitely an excellent match for one another.
