Most of my orders from them have been between $22-$30, no tax of course. In stock.18RangerZ520L wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 4:32 amNice, what's the price with shipping? Sounds good, so around $295 max. I paid low $300's for mine.
Re: 20 mentainum
Actually, if you bought two it would be around $280. You got a good deal either way and you have one heck of a collection. In reality, I probobly won't get one. Thought about buying and reselling, but it's not worth the hassle. I have the Antares AR 70, which I love. I'm not a big fan of the big gap in the sideplate, ie. the bantam, new metanium, Steez TW A/SV...obviously a personal preference thing.18RangerZ520L wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 8:03 amAquaftm45 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 21, 2020 5:27 amMost of my orders from them have been between $22-$30, no tax of course. The shop also just recieved the Calcutta 100 DC at an impressive price, so looking to add my first DC reel.
I'm kinda with Polkfish on variety bieng the spice of life when it comes to fishing gear. But, I see many redeeming benifits of haveing congruent gear, especially if you fish tournaments. I have to take a hot second to get acclimated to each combo I pick up when out fishing..

Re: 20 mentainum
I'll preface this post that I''m a Daiwa fan, but I always try out the Shimanos that pique my interest. I have owned Bantam MGL, Mentanium MGL, Stella FJ, Exsense, so basically all of the recent high-end Shimanos.
First impression of the reel is that this is Shimanos best bait casting reel they have made. It feels really solid like the Bantam, but lighter. The reel feels just like a Bantam mechanically. Our season opens April 1 here in Wisconsin where I will try it out. I'm going to put it on my jig rod, so it will get some use right away. I'm curious how the reel with cast with the MGL III spool.

Wow, never would have guessed it was so comparable to the CT in size. Thanks for the pics, looks like Shimano has a real star on their hands.

The CT feels much more refined to me. The SV TW feels more refined, but not as big of a gap. I have two Legend Elite MH rods for flipping milfoil that the Mets will end up on. They feel like a rock (in a good way). Shimano fans will really like them.
