Is Daiwa becoming : The Off Topic Turn...

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I’d do bad things for that zillion
Would it involve RuePaul?
Lol. I don’t feel there’s a right answer to this

But for real has anyone here actually laid hands on a fishing ape Zillion? It’s gotta be the rarest of the rare. I’ve hit so many of the treasure shops in Japan over the years and have never laid eyes on one

Most of those offerings from Daiwa are only available through exclusive channels... there used to be a Heartland group years ago with special rods and reels you could only get if you were in the club 🤷‍♂️

I had one at one time, and foolishly sold it because I'm not a big fan of the OG Zillion platform, mostly due to the weight. I'm pretty sure Bronzefly has a NIB one.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Same save for the exception of the JDream and TypeR

I guess that’s why I like all the second-hand tackle shops sprinkled all over Japan. I’ve found some real cool limited stuff browsing through them. I’d have to say my absolute best find was a mint (I’m assuming nib J Dream 7.9) that I pulled for $200!! Got some really cool Megabass lures with a big “TEST” printed on the side too.

Nice find on that JDream... the pinnacle of the TD Zillion platform in my opinion... might have to pull mine out of retirement for some fun... I have so much tackle I don't have the time to fish because of all the testing duties

I don’t feel sorry for you. If that was my duty I’d have a valid excuse for never catching any fish!

I don't infer its less manly, inference isn't needed in obvious situations, where data is clearly everywhere over the matter. You are free to bring the soft manhood for fishing, but not for make it appear the standard for everyone.
As I said, compensating for insecurities and deeply seeded at that. If you're so offended by the data I clearly display through my long history on this site, why do you feel the need to hang out with us?
Good! So I will need a green fishing rod, to pair it with my CG80 and pink braided line?
It's sad... I'm fond of landing 20lb tarpon on light tackle, could I navigate this trendy ocean for some ''security''? lol
You're obviously not familiar with the phrase "dont poke the bear"....

I know just the combo though might take a little more research to find the pink braided line ;)

It's polyester...you don't even need to iron it.
