Normally I would be excited about new reels but the curado 70 mgl looks kind of ugly with those color schemes. Especially the cheap looking black line guide guard piece.

We have already had a MM Curado 70. The 70 based Engetsu. People have already been swapping in those gears into Curado 70s. If the Curado 70 and Curado I share a gear set then you could already do a MM swap to the I

Being a big fan of the original 70, I’m looking forward to this iteration. Color is opinion, I happen to like this scheme. I’m happy to see Shimano offering the K in a 70 size with the aforementioned upgrades.

It's not a 70 sized K. It's not a new platform. It's the old 70 with MM gears and Curado K paint scheme. This is fine just understand it is not what it says it is.
