Damn! That is some serious fish for a 2 power stick.JBcrankaddict wrote: ↑Tue Aug 04, 2020 9:34 amConquest 842 putting in some work yesterday. This jack crushed my Flash Minnow as soon as it hit the water, and was a strong fighter despite the messed up tail. Towed me out a few hundred yards before I was able to tire it out. Always a fun surprise.
Enough with the tackle. LETS SEE SOME FISH!

When I was a kid, we would have called that an E ticket ride, from the old ticket books you used to buy when you went to Disneyland. An E ticket was the best, and it sound like you got a great ride from that fish.

Always end up catching them on that rod Seems they only like to bite when I’m throwing a jerkbait. It’s a beast though and does a great job with bigger fish.
We have some great fisheries here on the Gulf Coast. 15 minute drive to 10 different water bodies and lots of species to catch. We have some fun!
Thanks Mark! Lol, that’s a good one! Those things definitely take you for a ride, better be ready for an hour battle when hooked up to a big jack. Biggest I ever caught towed me over 2 miles down the beachmark poulson wrote: ↑Fri Aug 07, 2020 8:08 pm

Wow, that's a football!
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Got it with a whopper plopper 110 while fishing for bass. Like 4 casts after i release her, another one bites the bait and bye bye whopper plopper

Good job!
If I recall correctly, Larry Dahlberg actually designed the Whopper Plopper 190 for muskies originally, and he decided to offer it in the 130 size when musky anglers kept reporting that big bass were eating it.

Here's a 7-pounder I hooked into before work this morning. The day always goes better when you catch a decent fish before work Glidebait on a trusty Powell Endurance 765.
