Luvias LT
Re: Luvias LT
I picked up a Certate 4000C-XH as well as the 4000C-XH JDM Luvias. Both performed FLAWLESSLY on the St. Lawrence since Saturday. I missed a PIG this morning on a boot tail 4" Keitech style custom bait that shook off in the whitecaps (jumped earlier and knew how big it was) as we closed off the trip. I love that river and love these reels! The 4000 size for me is perfect for balance, big drag displacement, and better casting/line lay. Best wishes on the water!

Re: Luvias LT
I have three Certate LT's, a JDM 2500, USDM 3000C-XH and a JDM 4000C-XH and they have been the best reels I have owned so far, I have caught a lot of Salmon on the two smaller reels and they are just as smooth as they were when new (Butter ). One sneaky feature the Certate offers over the Exist and Luvias is the rear cover comes off with two external screws one on the stem and one on the under side, you can lube the reel in just a few minutes! the Exist and Luvias require disassembly of the rotor to reach one of the cover screws. It's almost as fast as the lube port on the old generation Shimano's!

Haven't needed to remove it yet but will when needed with ease.
