I liked that it was 6'6". I've found myself moving back to shorter rods lately. I have a JDM 6-8 Blackscale rod that I take every time now. It seems I can react to a bite quicker with that rod than the longer rods I've been using for bottom contact.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

One of my first set of nicer rods were the Allstar T40X rods. Loved ‘em!
