Magenta. If its not going to match being a silver reel with blue star on a dark and earthy tone Valkaryie then go wild and make it stand out. Make it miss match like you mean it.

Magenta, unless you are a heavy night fisherman and those actually glow well. I enjoy a good mismatch mix of colors on a reel. My old Zillion TWS had a pink spool, purple highlights (9.1 gear), orange Sunline mono, and I considered making it look even more Frankenstein with knobs or dress up parts.

Somebody makes a post here and gets insulted for something unrelated to the post. Then the big dog doubles-down to “prove” the “stupidity” of the poster.
I may not be the brightest man but it’s pretty obvious this forum is kind of dead. Instead of a smart-ass comment to try to make somebody who tried to liven it up a bit feel like an idiot, I would’ve tried something like this instead of assuming every person who visits this site has sat down and read every single review.
“Hey man, you should try _______ line on that reel. Check out our review at (post link)”
But hey, post a picture with no identifying marks on it and call people dumb for not knowing what it is. That will get the post count and clicks up.
