Whether you go GLX or NRX stick with the 852c JWR. Once you go MBR you gain versatility and lose sensitivity.
If you have the ability, I would go NRX+ just for the resale value allow even if sensitivity isn't your main concern.

But the 852c is a top tier rod of the lineup for a reason...

893 for sure. The 873c not going to load well unless you have some very heavy plastic attached to those light weights.

Not even joking here, but somehow my wife is able to catch everything on a 7lb Sunline Sniper leader every trip we take. Tons of walleye, 38" muskie, 27" Pike, and a bunch of smallies. She never breaks off and I have zero clue how shes that lucky
