Are you sure they're being closed out? Often these reels get cheaper on the JDM market as the demand drops. It's supposed to be about the same price as the Steez Limited, which is what I've seen lately.

What is a GCR 842? Was that a glass rod? I'm not familiar with GCR designation.

I wouldn't mind stripping down my NFC helium and putting a new guide train and composite cork butt cap on it to help with overall balance. I love the blank, but the build definitely leaves me wanting.

Thankfully the new Exprides are uplocking. I agree that uplocking is far more comfortable in hand, and they don't seem to loosen as easily.

They no longer use the same blank in KLX and Helium. They've moved away from North Forks and started using Fuji blanks.
