Was looking to buy this online, but noticed that it is made in Malaysia, and not japan. Does anybody have experience with this reel and can comment on quality/durability?

Just moved to the bay from New York. Looking for any advice on how to get started. Ideally for trout/salmon/steelhead but open to salt as well! No fly shops in the San Jose area so resources are scarce. Any point in the right direction would be appreciated! Any other flyshops, very general locations...
