I had just heard this rod was a bit tip heavy and that a slightly heavier reel would negate that. Also it sounds like while heavier the FL is the superior reel in about every way so I was sort of looking into if that would be the better way to go and was hoping for opinions.

No ICAST this year but there seems to be some out of the ordinary drops coming. At least for companies that I have ties to. You didn’t miss anything sir. The new CI4 will be popular from what I know from those that have Shimano ties.

Any word on when the new model will drop?
