For a pretty powerful rod, it is impressively sensitive in my hands. I think it is a standout in the line.

I have thrown 1/4 oz Texas rigs plus plastic and it loaded and casted it well. The 7’2H has a nice lively tip imo and is overall a very versatile and impressive rod.

I love the 7’1 MH Valkyrie. It gets my vote for a dedicated chatterbait rod.

Also tempted to pick up the Tachyon Shaft too to compare it to the Target Sniper which I really enjoy using… that rod skips jigs like a dream. But I’m torn between the TShaft or getting a Wind Buster I’m interested in both of those rods as well. But I’m a big fan of the TS Well I didn't get either ...

I am going to hit up Lake Gaston in NC for the first time in early March or late February. Everything here in MD is iced up.
