Re: If You Could Have ONLY One Lure for the Rest of Your Life

Oh the lure I've found that still works and catches everything in the water... No. 5 Shad Rap in silver black back. Boring, but has stood the test of time. I need to remember to pull it out more often and use it.

I am going to order the F1.5 BFS rod-cliffhanger
I have this very stick and fell in love with it in 23. It has all the sensitivity you need, and I love that it's a half power lighter and five inches longer than the p5 version. I can pretty much throw any light lure and it handles it great.

Re: WHY are there no short enthusiast pitching sticks?!?!

Would the P5 Tachyon Shaft F6.5-67X be a player in this scenario? Sounds like it. Also check out the Raid Japan's Gladiator Anti Frog Rod. I don't have experience with either so I'm just going off of what I read. Just some more options to mill over.

Re: Best Topwater Lure of the Year, 2023

This is bigger topwater / wake bait territory, but I generated some big bites with the Megabass Gorham 147 this year. If you can find some skinny water where they're active, watch out and hold tight. They smoked it.

The P5 TB is my never leave home without it rod. You can throw whatever on it and it handles it great. I don't mind the shorter length, one of my favorite techniques is to skip magdrafts under docks with it. Handles them like a dream. Enjoy the rod dude, you picked a good one.

I've had my eye on the Deps backpack, but haven't pulled the trigger. Looks like its a fairly decent size.

Man, if you can get your hands on one, those new Imakatsu Uma Death Rollers look sick. They went so fast I was caught off guard. Very cool concept.

Re: Megabass 2023 Orochi X 10 rods

Got a couple on the way. I'd be glad to post my thoughts and a few pics when they get in. From the photos I've seen of folks who got them in today, they are very beautiful. My hope is they're balanced well to offset their weight. What models did you get? I went with the Cliffhanger and the Swamp Su...

Re: Wacky Rig is too easy so I'm trying topwater

So when I was hitting ponds hard two lures crushed. 1 was a Yamamoto Kut tail worm in a bluegill color. Many companies sell versions of this worm. 2. Was a frog, doesn't matter which brand pick a few and go with it. I ended up liking Spro and Jackall frogs. They never liked the walking the dog actio...

Figured I'd try this one to #MatchTheHatch I have one of those GI's in Chigill and my golly if you get that guy walking in place around the right fish. My next lure of thiers to try is the two-way....

I've used their paddle tails, their egu jig and egu jig trailers, and have their Deka Dodge and GI waiting to be tried out. I've been very pleased by the quality and effectiveness of their products.
