I'm no expert, but I am a big fan of Shimano blanks - especially the higher end stuff. I think the easiest, most sensible way to look at this is that within each line, as the price increases, the blanks are going to increase in crispness, making the blank a little more stiff throughout. Zodias vs Xpride actions
I purchased a 7'2" Xpride on Black Friday,with the intent of using it for spinnerbaits,swimjigs etc.... Moving baits. Since then I have seen people recommend the 7'2" Zodias for moving baits... I was wondering,is the actions different between these two rods? Is Zodias for moving baits and the Xpride...

I just purchased the Shimano Expride 7'3" Extra Hvy for frog fishing.Who else owns this rod,what else is it good for? Does it throw small swimbaits or pitch creature baits well also? Do you using for any other techniques? thx.

frogpond, Do you think Dobyns has a better rod than the kistler and dawia frog rods that you owned?I think I want a 7'3" rod though would the 734 be the same rod but longer?

When I said T-rigs I was referring to pitching heavy weights with Paca Craws and RoboWorm Pitchin' Kraw's. Thx for the reply.
