Shimano stella 2500F Question

What do you think of this reel? How does it compare to the newer models of the stella? Its tough to find any info on it anymore. I have the chance to one for $200 in great condition... what do you think?

i have the same reels as you do. When I got my stx the first time I went out I hated it, but now I love it. You just have to figure it out, 30 minutes to try to get the hang of a new reel is a joke. It does get a little old when the same people always are pushing pflueger reels and cajun red line (same company) when anyone with knowledge of fishing knows there are way better products for the same price.

I noticed that too. Its a real pain to tighten. Plus then you look at the schematics the really only uses a couple good bearings and the rest ore cheap ones. I would bring them all back and get stradics.
