Re: New Certate?
Got my LT2500 in today. Spooled it up with 1.5 Varivas Seabass SI-X. Had some issues putting line on it. At first the line lay was very bottom heavy so I removed a spacer, its better now but slightly top heavy. May add a spacer back in. I used it for an hour or so tonight from the bank but didnt cat...

St. Croix Physyx Rods
Just stumbled upon these this morning. ALF has them in for preorder.
Looking at the price point, are they replacing the LTB series?

Re: Longer, high end, versatile rod suggestions?
Honestly, I’m not big on longer rods, but I’ve found having one longer, versatile rod in my arsenal is pretty useful. For the last several years, a first generation Orochi XX EMTF has been what I’ve used. It’s been a great rod but I’ve been getting the itch to bump up to something a little more hig...

Re: Underestimated Lures (or Unappreciated)
When I first looked at a chatterbait, I laughed out loud. Now, I always have one rod rigged with one on deck. I like a particular JDM model. The blade is already vibrating before I turn the handle. :-D With the advent of forward facing sonar, the Lil George is bound to make a comeback, right? Dude,...

Re: Favorite Discontinued Hardbaits?
I remembered another one, Heddon Spit n Image Jr. They discontinued Jr size, and it was a better bait than the slightly bigger one that they still sell. I don't remember if the one I have is a Jr. or not. It's 2 1/2 inches and 1/4 oz. The Jr is about 3", and a little over 1/4oz, I think. The bigger...
