Trolling motors are surprisingly expensive, whatever you get; make it a 24 volt and run 2 batteries. You'll want the shorter model that is offered(42" for Minn Kota, 45" for Motorguide). A trolling motor is a key piece of equipment, you spend more time using it than you do the big motor.

I've only fished salt once(honeymoon in Cabo) and we got into some Mahi Mahi(Dorado). They are possibly the perfect fish; brilliantly colored, really aggressive, tasty, and extremely fast growing.

I use Zoom Fat Albert grubs on my swim jigs, I love fishing bluegill colored swimjigs with brown pumpkin trailers. I've caught many bass and pike on that combination.
