Re: Stradic FL 5000

Yes you have to turn the reel upside down to install the A/R bearing. This way it will not come apart. That could be the cause of the noise as well.

The reels are pretty well sealed so rain should not be an issue.

Re: Core 50 Sideplate Screw

There was a change to the part number a while back. The new global part number is 10LZD. We are currently backordered until 8/25, but I think we can match it up if you stop by.

Re: 14/15 Calcutta Conquest 200 clutch bearing removal

The bearing is pressed into the side plate and not east to get out. Usually it requires a delicate beating with a modified flat blade screw driver and a hammer, or the use of a good blind bearing puller. Usually they will only cause noise if there was corrosion in the bearing. It is very rare for th...

Re: Core 50 Sideplate Screw

Have you determined which screw you are missing? We might be able to match something up if they are no longer in stock. We do not sell part over the counter, but you can order online through our website or by calling 877-577-0600.

Re: Stradic FL 5000

I do not have an exact torque spec, but it probably doesn't need to be more than 15 inch pounds based on the side of the screws. The gear will stay in place but you have to push down against it while removing the side cover. I use the back of one of my precision screwdrivers to keep it there. Things...

Re: Chronarch 100D7 Worm Gear BTN4010

There should be one end with a groove for the c or e clip and the other end has a "T" for the idle gear to attach. A spacer can be added under the idle gear to help space the wormshaft if it needs adjustment. The Chronarch D should have had one spacer, maybe 2 at most. If the line is stacking toward...

Re: Chronarch 100D7 Worm Gear BTN4010

Where did you grind/cut the wormshaft? It should have been a direct swap. It's possible the replacement you received was not marked correctly and for a different reel.

Re: Rod Action on Website/Product Guide

The closest rods we have for power and action will be Zodias ZDC70MLGA, Curado CDC70MLGA or a touch more power G.Loomis IMX-PRO 903C CBR. The IMX is the only 7'6" model that is close. The 841C is 7' but a true ML cranking rod.

Re: Chronarch 100D7 Worm Gear BTN4010

Try Southwestern Parts & Service in Dallas, TX or Coastline in North Carolina. BNT3822 can be used, the material and coating is slightly different but it will fit and work.

Re: Rod Action on Website/Product Guide

Pretty much all of the Expride B models are fast or extra fast actions. The parabolic rods will be the cranking rods and will have the G in the model number. These will be the closest to what you had since the Cumara Reaction rods were all moving bait type rods (cranks, jerkbaits, spinnerbait, etc)....

Re: 2024 Shimano SLX 70 Question

I was able to confirm the changes are Silent Tune and new MGL III spool. The frame and side plates are the same. So better casting performance overall will be the major difference.

Re: Chronarch 100D7 Noise

Typically the yoke doesn't wear on the bearing supported pinion gears. I suppose anything is possible. Noises are tough to diagnose over a forum. It's one of those things if I had it in hand I'm sure its easy to determine what it is. If you were local I would suggest bringing it by for me to take a ...

Re: 2024 Shimano SLX 70 Question

Silent Tune and MGL III spool should improve the casting performance, especially with lighter lures. I am not sure if they share the same frame tooling or not. I have not had a chance to see one in person yet.
