I was hoping to buy one for another model that would fit the Calcutta versus modifying my brakes.

Does anyone know if there is a brake puck for the Calcutta 50xt that I can use from another shimano baitcaster, a 4 brake or possibly 2 brake model that is lightweight for bfs? An Ali express or Japan tackle or Hedgehog studios model would be great.

So I see the recommendation of the Tsurinoya Ares but after looking on Ali Express I cannot seem to find the Ares anymore. Am I missing it or did Tsurinoya discontinue or peplace that model?

I have been reading about bfs and trout magnets, but I for the life of me cannot figure out how to accurately cast them is a small stream setting with even the “best of gear” ie. Calcutta conquest bfs+ Avail shallow spool and magnets+ 4’6” Chineseium fiberglass rod rated for 1-5grams+ 4lb dia braid....

Unfortunately that spool does not fit the Calcutta 50 xt, the spool shaft is a long shaft on the 50xt. That spool only goes on a Calcutta conquest reel.

Does anyone know if there is a bfs spool for the calcutta 50xt?
I have looked on ebay and they are over $500, ive also looked on Ali Express and cant seem to even find a cheaper spool.
