Re: new daiwa rod in the works??
I commented on a post of his on Instagram the other day. he replied back that it was an original tatula elite prototype of his 7'1" jerkbait/topwater rod that they didn't use as a production model because it was to soft. apparently he used it for spybaiting

Re: new daiwa rod in the works??
cronos have a carbon weave ober the blank down by the handle and a visibly billet aluminum hood on the foregrip. this has neither other than the fact the rods completely black. they also haven't made the cronos for a couple years now.

new daiwa rod in the works??
randy howell using a black foam daiwa rod that doesn't look like a rebellion rod. looks like a cross between the tatula elite, rebellion and new steez ags

daiwa tatula elite ags ehler rod or the tatula elite 7'1" andy montgomery skipping rod. both are cost effective and are solid options

Re: new daiwa steez punch rod??
i feel you. he definitely uses some wacky rated rods for punching/flipping. that rod just looks really long and stout for it to be any sort of MH type of rod as i watched him on bass live. but it could be the bottom contact rod for sure

new daiwa steez punch rod??
watching Seth Fieder fishing on bass live today and also seeing him in the photo gallery; I cant help but notice the "steez-ish" looking rod he's punching with. it has AGS guides but not the blue hue like the higher end model. it looks more like the Steez bottom contact rod but I highly doubt that's...

new daiwa rebellion rods
Anyone know which of the models in this line up are the flipping rods? I'm assuming the 7'6" but they also have a 7'9" with similar ratings as well. Not a lot of info out about them right now. I'm sure its coming. But i like many others would like to be a little ahead of the curve I'm sure. Any info...

Re: Tatula Elite 701MHR CRANKIN'
i fish this thing exclusively with all my squarebills. i have 3 and am a huge fan. they are a bit misleading when first held in hand because of how stiff they seem. but on the water they're completely different. i typically fish 1.5's and baits of that size on it but have fished baits up to the luck...
