Re: Is the PXR still worth buying with SV spools now availab

I've had a few pxr reels over the years and will admit they are great little reels
Today I think I would pick the alphas air over any of the other pixy/alpha platforms for finesse or bfs duties.

Re: 1.0-1.5 squarebill rod suggestions

I loved the 704cb from dobyns for this size but it's a very soft feeling rod IMO...
I'm currently using an older daiwa TD-X 661MLFB-C for my smaller square bills

Re: switch hands, palm reel, how do you cast or reel?

My son fishes with right handed reels and doesn't switch because he's left handed and grew up using my reels.. To me this still seems weird because he holds it the same reeling in as he does casting. .. When you don't palm or choke up on a rod, you lose a few things in my opinion... feel and leverag...

how to take apart daiwa ringa or ize light?

Ive looked but cant tell for sure how these come apart... i read an old thread saying there's a couple screws inside that you get to after you take the spool out... it looks like rivets to me and not screws... any help?
