Wow...didn't know croix was outsourcing now. I'm kind of surprised he mentioned the blanks were made in mexico. Really made me grimace. It's a fact you can't build a $100 rod in the states that will compete. I would still rather loomis hold out versus succumbing to this crap.

892 and 953 would fit in my arsenal.

Mag bass looks way better. It doesn't look like grandpa hit the shine and got carried away with the burled cork rings. Those were my initial thoughts when I first saw the green models anyway.

I agree with this. Somebody needs to break into the loomis factory and burn all those dark cork rings.

Man, I just spent a half hour looking at everythung. Loads of cool new stuff...very satisfied so fsr. The line welder really caught my eye. Supposedly fuses lines with surgical precision eliminating knots. Sounds interesting...

It's no bs that I thought mine was shipped without a cast control knob. I think this new cap is lame, but I probably won't do anything about it. My 'problem' is that I have some cork knobs that I think would look badass on it, but the rubber is so sticky on the stock grips I think it would be a down...

Wonder if they'll have Torzites, or if that's just a pipe dream. I don't think torzite's are a pipe dream, but leaving the blank unpainted probably is. NRX style unpainted? Nrx blue style is fine. What difference the lacquer makes is a whole different thread. Thinking more on the torzite guides.......
