Stradic Ci4+ and NASCI are my two main spinning reels. Both in 1000. I have no complaints about either.

Depends on the reel. For spinning I use an Alberto. For BFS an FG knot because its slimmer profile goes thru the guides easier and avoids birds nests with really light lures.

To me BFS uses lures under 1/4 oz (7.1g) down to a little less than 1/16 oz (1.8g). Your lure range, 3.5-15 g, has you all the way up to 1/2 oz. Amazing casting skills but at 1/4 oz lure weight it falls outside my definition of UL.

Are 1/4 oz lures actually practical for that kind of pocket water? Honest question. Trying to learn.

They just send a random assortment. Haven't fished them yet since all the still water in my area is iced over.
