lol yeah I understand that completely. I have a Revo and I really dont like the feel its too bulky for me, which is why I am looking at the 100 smoke not the 150. I will def. test them out before I buy it I was just curious to how the compared to other manufacturers models in the same price range.

I have a st. croix mojo bass and IMO it doesnt compare to the Veritas. My buddy uses the Veritas and I think its much lighter and more sensitive then the mojo. I am selling most of my rods to buy new combos which include only the Veritas rod.

I actually found these reels at a tackle shop not to far from here and held them. Both seem extremely nice. I believe the Chronarch feels alot better in my hand then the REVO does. The only concern I have is the drag on the Shimano. If I happen to catch a 30 lb striper, would the drag fail being it ...

The viento is an incredible reel. That is the best deal Ive seen so far. its normally $210 bucks but tacklewarehouse has them for $89. I got one a few months ago.

I have a Powell Max and I love it, its my favorite rod so far...I have messed around with the Endurance, although I do not own one. It seems to me that the Endurance series is much more stiff then the Max series. The only input I can provide is that Powell makes exceptional rods and you probably won...

Ive heard that the Chronarch has backplay on several occasions...I was reading reviews on a few websites last night and at least one person said that per website...hmmmmm
