Can the knob of a 2006 Shimano Biomaster 2500 be changed to a aftermarket knob? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I use a Phenix Recon PHX-C682 which is 6'8 light action rod with a Daiwa Pixzilla and 6lb flouro. Takes care of all my finesse stuff.

For me it's:
1-Shimano Scorpion 1000
2-Shimano Biomaster 2500

I don't use them, too many anglers depend so much on this bait, I just think its a dummy bait that has a build in action. Too many anglers use it as their number one choice instead of becoming a better well rounded angler. Just my 2 cent.
