Re: Archangel

Dude...you get a KP citation for using your reel as a hook keeper. I know it's your reel..it's just painful to see.

Re: Icast- Abu Villain 2.0

Hmm...it says better components...maybe they threw sic's on it to compete with the zillion. The handle will make or break it though. If it has a full cork handle like the new omen I'd be a player, but that won't be the case.

Re: Archangel

I don't need to see the action to know I can't afford it. Not now anyway. I'll have to wait until they pop up on ebay.

Re: KP Concept A's

Would you happen to know the weight of any of the individual parts? Not yet...but I'm thinking about visiting the post office. I took it out yesterday and the thing is pretty feral. I was making long casts in clear water with a 3/16oz shakey head and the brakes were never backed off. It's wilder th...

KP Concept A's

Just received the parts to KP my A's and snapped a quick pic with my phone. I haven't even tightened down the handle all the way...I need to get up and get a kleenex or something..I'm afraid I'll scuff it up. 3 more to go http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/mpratt/Mobile%20Uploads/20150619_160602...

X4 hedgehog

Just wondering what opinions were of this little casting rod and if it's really capable to 1/2oz. I like short rods for top waters and jet baits and I'm really wanting a reason to buy it. It's a sharp rod that I'm finding deals on.

Re: Orochi x4 f4- 67 type f

it can be rated fast or xfast and still have a soft tip. those ratings usually mean how fast the action shuts off. Yeah...I thought about that last night. I read more on it and the rod was designed for soft plastics, and Megabass claims the tip wwill give them more actiion. I guess I'll just have t...

Orochi x4 f4- 67 type f

I can purchase this rod for a good price, but am confused about the discription. It's listed as an XF taper, but the discription on megabass's website raves about its soft tip...even says it's a 'spinning rod' tip. I'm confused. I want a J/W rod...I prefer XF, but would settle for a fast such as my ...

Had to protest my TW charge

I purchased 2 new crucial's among other things from TW last month, and decided I was going to go a different route and sent the rods back. A couple of weeks later I noticed the credit back was only for one rod and phoned them with the discrepancy. He said they must have only received one rod and to ...

Re: Still in love with my 803!

Everyone seems to like longer rod over (7') nowadays. Bcr 803 6'8 is still perfect length for me. It's easier to handle and control. You just need both. When you want to cast and work baits...grab the 803. When you want to pitch a mile...grab the 893. You can underhand skip baits way under dock wit...

Re: Still in love with my 803!

I owned all the 2 and 3 powere bcr's at one point. I've since sold them, and my mbr's are all that remain. I definitely miss my 803 and 893's...they remain the most sensitive sticks I've fished to date.

Bass Craft

I'm a big squarebill guy, and I've been eyeing these for a while. I've heard claims that I'd sell my wec's if I tried one, and I figure with the TW sale I'd put my name on the backorder list. I thought I'd see If anyone here could verify it's status as being the sh!t.
