Re: Cork on megabass rod, what’s your thought
I've noticed this as well and I think the same maybe can be said for Japanese rods in general as I see the same thing on my Evergreen and MajorCraft rods. Perhaps the type or source of cork is different? My Loomis and St Croix rods have much "cleaner" cork also despite being used more often. Totall...

Cork on megabass rod, what’s your thought
I have seen multiple megabass rods with peeled cork filler, including my legend works limited which has ‘rare AAA grade cork’. However, I found this less noticeable on my other glx and st croix rods. Did you guys have the same experience and what’s your thought about it?

Re: White Python vs Power Versatile
I prefer the WP. I own a WP 1 piece, WP 2 piece, and had one PV that I sold. The PV isn't as sensitive as the WP and doesnt load quite as nice as the WP in my opinion. I havent tested the limits of the WP yet ( I have a Super Destruction for the bigger stuff), but the PV felt strained at its max lu...

Re: Shimano World Shaula
Great post! I was looking for the whole line a while ago and was little confused about the lure rating. One for normal lure and one for jigging. I am not sure if the whole line was more designed for hardbait cause I saw some videos they took the rod to amazon for testing and the baits they use the m...

Re: LIN10 vs Monoblock, thoughts?
I have one of each and absolutely love both. In my opinion the two finest reels ever made as far as precise machining, tight tolerances, and smoothness. As refined as it possibly gets. To me the Lin 10 is at its best with bigger baits like 1-4 oz swimbaits, whopper plopper, anything like that. But ...

Re: Why should I buy a Daiwa Zillion J-Dream?
I had both and the J Dream is way more smoother than the HLC. To me the the J Dream and PE special are the most zillions.Redlinerobert wrote:How does the J Dream compare to the HLC?
