The Elite is on order

I ordered an EC68MXF from St. Croix today. I had it personalized. It will be here in 2 to 3 weeks. If it is as good as, or better than my Crucial CRC-X68M, then I will be pleased. I am pairing it witha Chronarch 100B retro fitted with a 100BPV power handle II and spooled with 12 lb. Sufix Siege smok...

Re: What do you do with your older rods and reels

I give them to grandchildren, and kids I see fishing with snoopie reels, 404's, 33's etc. I had rather see a kid fish than hang out on a corner.

St Croix Elite

Any one use a EC68MXF. I would like some feed back on your take on this rod. I have Legand Tournaments (2), Avids (4), Shimano Crucials (5), and Compre (3) rods. I have used mid range rods for years, but never owened a high end rod. I am going to buy one this week. A high end rod os some kind for ji...

Re: Cabelas rod socks?

I haven't tried the Cabela's rod soxs, but I have 16 of the one's BPS sells ($3.99) and they work great. It makes it nice to slide a rod in one of the lockers and not hang up. They are worth buying.

Re: Chronarch Help

I changed out the handles last night. To remove the handles, you only need to remove the 2 screws. The nut and handle retainer stay in place. D.R. P.S. My grandson and I had a blast yesterday. He got to play with his new setup and I got to test (play) with my new Crucial 6'8"xm. This is one sweet rod.

Re: Any experience with the new Curado D's???????

I got my first chance to fish with the 100 yesterday. I got my grandson (9) one for x-mas. He let me play with it for a while. I think it is smoother than the old stile b's. I have 3 of the 200DHS and they are great. You don't seam to notice the diffrence in the weight from the b models. All in all ...

Chronarch Help

I won't to change out the handles on my CH100B's with Ch100BPV handles. How do you get them off. I like the feel of the BPV handles better than the B's.
I have been fishing for 53 years and this is the first time I have owned a reel that I can't field strip like an M-16 (complete).
