Bass Pictures...
Spawn is on...
Hit my little public lake that has no pressure and man was there bass...
This is the first day they have hit the shallows...
I have been driving by and eyeballing it for three weeks now...
I caught over 15 bass...
Biggest was just over 5 lbs...
5 lber
She was fat!!!
Second biggest was 3 1/2 lbs...
3 1/2 lber...
I caught them on a crawdad jig...
Casted out about 20 ft and slowly retrieved it, pretty much dragging the bottom...
I did however try to catch the ones I saw on beds but by the time I was able to flip to them they got spooked and swam away...
That is tougher than it seems...
I had to pretty much hide and cast and it still needed to give a slow presentation or else it spooked them...
I thought bed fishing would be easier...
Man, overall they all wieghed around 2 - 3 lbs...
Best thing was that I had the lake all to my self...
Besides joggers...
I had to use a pole to set my digital camera down on, I hit the button and backed up to get the pictures...
Pretty good delay and it worked out great...

Re: Bass Pictures...
very nice. I envy you because you can bass fish at this time of year. Where I live we are in a time most fisherman hat no icefishing (thin ice)
too regular fishing (thin ice). It's really a drag. Anyway, the regular season will be coming. I don't ice fish anyway.

Chu Chu,
[shadow=black] Nice! [/shadow]
Don't forget to mention the rod & reel you used. Did you add an electric trolling motor and fishfinder to your pond boat?

Re: Bass Pictures...
I was using a Quantum ACS Reel with a Quantum PT Rod...
I have not used my pond boat yet...
I still need to get the Trolling Motor and a FishFinder...
I have pretty much everything else...
These Bass are taken from shore...
