Great weekend of fishing...Have Photos...

Post by ChuyDawg » Tue Mar 16, 2004 3:14 am

I was out all day from March 11, 2004 until today...
Wow did I have a blast...

On Thursday I fished Machado Lake, my small lake in the city...
Caught 4 LM Bass on a Storm 4" swim bait and a Gitzit tube jig...
Could have caught a lot more on their beds but didn't want to pull them from their beds unless they were big ones...
All four caught averaged 3-4 lbs...

On Friday 3/12/04 I went to Diamond Valley Lake caught 6 LM Bass on drop shot set up...
I had 3 fish break off...
This one was the biggest...
Diamond Valley Lake Bass
I have the Berkley digital scale...
It showed 4.3...
I take it as a 4 lber...

On Saturday 3/13/04 I fished El Dorado Park Lakes...
Caught one LM Bass...
But the best part is my 3 yr old daughter caught about 20 bluegills...
She was so excited...

On Sunday I started to clean up my storage to prepare for my camping trips...
On July 22 - 25, 2004 I am going to Lopez Lake in San Luis Obispo...
On August 19 - 22, 2004 I am heading to San Francisco to stay with my sister and also go fishing with Big Mac at Spring Lake...

On Monday I just slept in and rested...
I am currently working graveyard and needed to sleep...
Here are some other bass pictures...
Chuy's Fish

And Finally got some pictures of my fishing buddy Mike...

Forgot to add that I bought some boat goodies...

I got the following:
(1) 62 lb thrust Motor Guide Great White...
(1) 36 lb thrust Minn Kota
(2) Trojan Marine Batteries (SCS200)
(1) Exide 10 amp Battery Charger

All for $200!!!

Found it on the PennySaver...
I actually was asking for his 5 hp Nissan engine...
He said he had sold it but is also getting rid of a 9.9 hp Nissan engine and some trolling motors...
Once I saw them in person and he told me the price I was hooked...
They are a little used but still great shape and at a good price...
Can I use a Saltwater trolling motor in Freshwater???

Ya you could probably use a saltwater trolling motor in fresh water. Probably not the other way around though,

Very nice fish Chuy, very nice. Your lakes look pretty much like the ones I fish here. Had a chance to give your boat "el remojón" ?.

Hey bitesize, I just got out a couple of days ago. We went for some brown and steelies. Didn't catch one but did catch a perch with our Aqua Vu, check it out at the post: strangest thing you ever caught. But if you talking about bass for me it won't be until June . How about you?
