Destination Advice

Post by CodyNeely11 » Sat Jan 15, 2022 3:25 pm

I’m looking to take a fishing trip around first of March. Having a hard time deciding where I should go. Suggestions?

OH Ivie in Texas 😀😀

Like two 15+ pound share lunkers caught out of there and then posted all over instagram in the past couple weeks it seems. Seems like the ‘smaller’ Texas reservoirs that are not typical players with the tournament circuits are all the rage right now to catch a monster. Kind of what CA was 15-20 years ago.

Are you bringing your own boat or hiring a guide?

I am going to hit up Lake Gaston in NC for the first time in early March or late February. Everything here in MD is iced up.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about North Carolina lakes as well.
