I'd probably fish weedless frogs if the weeds are heavy especially in the warmer months (May through October). Some of the more "oddball" designs such as prop frogs (e.g. Lunkerhunt Propfish Sunfish) and bladed frogs (e.g. Teckel QLinker) would be good picks as well to differentiate what other anglers may be throwing (plus create a bit of racket to help fish find your bait). For subsurface baits I feel like it'd be hard to go wrong with a texas rigged paddletail swimbait or fluke in any sort of open water. Both will also hit creature baits such as Zoom Baby Brush Hogs if you are fishing weedier areas but can present a bait in the weeds rather than on top. That's how I would tackle that pond if I was fishing it, hope this gives you some ideas!

Thank you i never knew they made oddball designed frogs. I noticed in the warmer months before they clear a lot of the weeds out it seems to weedy even for texas rigs

Yea it should still be possible to fish through the weeds, but at that point you may be punching baits through all the grass with some heavy weights. It'd work for bass (tourney anglers do punch really thick mats in places like Florida with great success), not entirely sure about pike but I feel like you'd still get the odd one doing it. To punch properly I feel like you would need a specialised combo for it though
