Not a way to start off a week

Post by Johnny A » Sun Apr 18, 2021 7:12 am

I’m getting my tackle ready for tomorrow’s day on the lake and I lean my Tatula Elite Tak crankbait against the boat while I go around the bow to reach for the clippers. The rod slides down the bow and onto the concrete garage floor, breaking the ceramic out of the tip top guide and a few scuffs on the Zillion 1000.
Warranty is out the question, so I try to remove the tip guide. SMFH.

all you can do is learn and move on..
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible

The tip removal was a disaster. I gave it to my grandnephew to have his old man to fix and sell.

Well, that sucks.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Tips are easy to replace, it's the rebinding and epoxy that's a PITA...
