I have a friend who was with me when I caught some fish, and now he's hooked.
He likes how I fish exclusively with lures, and wants to learn. Problem is, he doesn't want to start with heavy imbalance set-ups, and I don't think he should buy my kind of set up unless he is sure he likes fishing..
I can lend him my reel (Shimano Twinpower C3000HG), lines and my extensive arsenal of lures, but he probably needs a MH or H 7ft spinning rod in the $100 - $200 range.
We will fish the rivers and estuaries, and target strippers & bluefish for a start. Would appreciate it if you guys can chip in with your views and hopefully I can introduce him to a wonderful sport.
