I did just order two bearings to add to the spool and spool shaft from hedge hog studio, had to also get
rid of that T-knot and add a Megabass handle knot.

That’s a beauty! You’ll enjoy it for sure. I like the CXH versions.

I hear ya on the t-knobs- I replace all mine with a RCS cork ones.

Its a very dark blue.

Got the bearings today and they fit perfect, I know have a certate LT 3000 that is a 12+1 bearing system like the
Exist but an aluminum body

I've been curious about whether Megabass/RCS style knobs fit on spinning reel handles. Looks like I may need to upgrade my Tatula sometime soon...

Gary did you try Exist on Flyssa? Which one balance better Exist or Certate?

Hi Adam - I've fished both the Exist LT 3000-CXH and Certate LT 2500-XH on Flyssa - the Certate is a little bit better balanced on the 7'6" rod, but the difference isn't terribly significant. I didn't measure, but the balance point with Certate is 1/8" to 1/4" closer to the reel seat than with Exist. They both feel very nice on the rod.

I chose the Certate for that reason, it does balance the Flyssa better.
I put my Daiwa Steez 17 type II (6.2oz) on my Flyssa and it worked fine but the Certate is about perfect.

The Flyssa is nice because its not overly tip heavy like most 7'6" rods.

I love mine....

That 76MML Steez AGS/Exist 19 is indeed a dream combo - I thoroughly enjoy mine.

The Megabass Flyssa paired up with the 19 Certate is also an incredible combo. I've been fishing quite a few different presentations on mine, but am really loving the Megabass Okashira Screw Head 1/16 oz paired with a Keitech Fat Swing Impact 2.8...

Been using a Steez 2500 on a 2 power for long time (actually, Bryan rebuilt it with a Steez 2500 frame he happened to have a the shop a few years back) but have picked up 3 power for shakeyheads, roboworm, sekno and the like and thinking of moving up to 3000 size reel - the Steez 2500 seems to have the body... err well the rotor frame I guess too close to the rod for my tastes, and I nick my knuckles more often than I should admit lol. Probably more of a lack of use/familiarity since I don't throw it very often, but still think moving to the 3000 or 3000 CHX (like that it's lighter - my '15 Luvias feels much to heavy on the 702/703, for instance) and balance is off. 7oz much better I think.

That is a 2500 Certate. I have since moved to the 3000CXH. Same for the Exist LT series, 3000CXH for me!
