Managed to snag one of the first batch of 610MLs, got it today.

First impression - this is not a DS rod. Compared to my Expride 610ML, it seems to be about a power heavier through the tip and mid section. Probably perfect for 4" flukes, finesse swimbaits and jigs...maybe a finesse hard jerkbait rod too. FWIW the 6'7ML Adrena lies somewhere between the Expride and Vigore in power.

Incredibly light and balanced as you would expect - fit/finish is perfect 10/10.
What total weight would you say it tops out at? If possible, would you be willing to post some pics?

Congrats!
one of the Vigore videos from Olympic did mention the power of 610ML is more in line with M, so it looks right I guess...
when you say it is not a DS rod, do you mean the tip is not soft enough? I also have a Expride 610ML and I wouldn't mind Vigore has a little stiffer tip as I won't use it for vertical drop shot.

Hi Reason162, thanks for the info. Why would you say the 610ML is not a drop shot rod?
Taper? Power? Best regards, Dutch

For the 610ML and 75M owners: with what reel have you paired it?
Any suggestions, comments would be great.
I have a those 2 Vigores in back order.
Cannot wait to receive them and try them out.

Hi Dutch,
I own the 742M. I put a Certate 13 2510 in it. It ended up going on the 792M because of the ratio and the weight of the reel that fit much better on this stick.
The balance of the 742M is so perfect that you can fit any reel from 6oz to 8oz, I can't imagine it will be different with the 610ML.
Like you, I have the models, 610ML, 75M and 76MH on backorder.
I planned to put an Ignis 14 Type R on the 610ML and 742M. I had made pictures of the balancing with the Certate and the Ignis on page 3 or 4 of the topic.
A+

Hi Creel83,

Thanks a lot for the quick reply and info!
Looks like a sweet rod, that 742M!
74M was a typo though: I meant 75M, so the casting rod which you also have in back order.
I have corrected it.

You're welcome.
I'm interested in the answer for the 75M suddenly.😊
I planned to put a Steez A on it or a 21 Japan Zillion which is lighter but I think the Steez will balance it out better.
To your answers, gentlemen

I'm in the same boat, been looking for the 610ml with no success. I can get the 16 Vigore 610ml but feel like I'd be missing out on something compared to the new ones haha. Was hoping to land one before my Wisconsin trip next month but it looks unlikely
