Does any have any details on this rod or know when it will be available?

Still nothing on this rod, wonder if it was scrapped?
Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
I was wondering that too. Last year on EG's site it showed release date was December alongside the new Cobra but now it seems to have disappeared. Was looking forward to see what this rod was about.
Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
This rod will be released next november. This info comes from Imakatsu Instagram.

Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
If I am reading things right, there will be both a 7' and 7'4" version of this rod, the longer version featuring a longer grip. Seriously thinking about getting one upon release
Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
Just ckecked out the Imakatsu IG and you are right, looks like there is going to be a 7'4" "Giant Deere Wolf" rod too for big baits. Looks sick, seemed he was throwing some 9" swimbaits on that thing.evilcatfish wrote: ↑Mon Sep 06, 2021 1:42 pmIf I am reading things right, there will be both a 7' and 7'4" version of this rod, the longer version featuring a longer grip. Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
Thanks so much for sharing! That is quite the description. I definitely want the RS!
Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
Why will you choose RS intead of GT ? Just curious
I prefer the looking of RS but according to the review ( if translation its ok ) The GT suits better for my intended purpose.
Regards

I intend to use this rod primarily for bladed jigs. While I can’t promise that I’m interpreting the description 100%, the photo clearly shows RS model with a single hook bait. I also prefer the cork and aesthetics of the RS. I own almost every model of the Inspirare casting lineup and all of the RS models with the exception of the black raven extreme. The RS and RSR Rapid Gunner are a pleasure to fish. I’m certainly not discounting the GT…but if I could only pick one the RS is it.

Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
What are the differences between the RS and GT models? I'm looking at the Cougar Elite GT (Full length grip). Is one essentially for moving baits, the other for bottom contact?
Re: Evergreen International Dire Wolf Wild 7
GT-R model if I'm not wrong according to de website transalation is more flexible rod which is better with treble hooks and accuracy.Hogsticker2 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 3:15 pmWhat are the differences between the RS and GT models? I “think” the handle on the GT is a little shorter too, but I could be wrong.
