I guess you never heard of counterfeit items. It happens. more often than a lot of people think.

I'd have to ask how many people buy name brand reels out of China's domestic market and could argue that they're possibly counterfeit?

With regards to packaging materials they change from time to time, just because the bags differ you can't say too much for it? Someone in packaging ran out of the run of bags and used whatever they had in supply - no?

I wasn’t saying the reels in question were counterfeit. I wasn’t saying plastics bags were indicators of counterfeit items. I all I was saying was people need to pay attention to the items they’ve purchased. I went and looked at all six of the reels, 3 Zillion 10s and 3 1000s, I was mistaken. There were more soft plastic bags than crinkly bags, so I was wrong.
I’m not a money-centric person but I don’t like getting ripped off.

The whole counterfeit reel this is a joke. China is not going to counterfeit a reel. They are going to make some plastic blob abomination and put a spider or a Daiwa looking logo on it and call it a Sogayyoulang Dawa or something. No one is fooled and the end results are hilarious.

I didn't even realize this thread was about counterfeit items. I legit thought we were discussing bag quality differences. With respect to counterfeit. I'd likely not be tricked by a knock off Zillion. The investment to counterfeit at such high quality would be difficult at best and not worth it IMO. Anyway I do think the reels should be in bubble wrap for what it is worth. Have a good day

Just for clarification, I didn’t name any country for counterfeiting. There is the possibility of less than scrupulous individuals using returns or damaged product and selling it to unwitting people. If you don’t think that happens, you should perhaps purchase a clue.
