Jackall Revoltage
Anybody using these rods? I'm looking at the 7' MH Glass Composite rod to throw squarebills with
Re: Jackall Revoltage
I have the 7’0” Glass rod. It’s my go to crank and Jackhammer rod. Very versatile rod. Excellent action and power under load. Excellent fit and finish across the Revoltage line. Typical JDM quality. Love it. You won’t be disappointed.

Revoltage rods now have T1100G and M40x on certain models in the lineup
Looks like they removed the beat maximizer handle from the previous model.

I have always had my custom workhorse rods built with Alconites...on higher end blanks and builds, I preferred TiSic, although SS Sic was a great option as well.Hogsticker2 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 9:16 amYep... Only SIC guides, but I've never been a stickler about them. I'm just fine with Alconite.

These rods definitely have my interest, particularly the C66M+ and C68MH. Seems a little odd the M40X technology isn't utilized in the 66M+ though, especially since they mention using it in models where sensitivity is important. Based on the description, the 66M+ sounds like a rod where high sensitivity would be a big plus? I'm guess the engineers and R&D folks at Jackall have their reasons though...

I was thinking the same thing. Same deal with Evergreen and Shimano though.evilcatfish wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 6:26 amThese rods definitely have my interest, particularly the C66M+ and C68MH. Re: Jackall Revoltage
They got rid of that badass lockdown nut though . A shame. Shimano/Jackal went backwards on the Ultima/Glorious and now Revoltage lockdown nuts. The nut is like the 'front fascia' of fishing rods IMO. Just cosmetic I realize, but if looks didn't matter, we'd all just fish Loomis rods.
Re: Jackall Revoltage
The street price for the new Jackall Revoltage is about 28000 to 31000 For a rod with To 1000 and M40x, the price is too good to be trure. In my opinion , this is a much better buy than Days 360 with 16 models.
https://www.jackall.co.jp/bass/products ... ltage2023/ Check out the whole lineup. It is got a lot of 7 and longer models that fits American anglers.

Re: Jackall Revoltage
One thing I have noticed is that these rods a smidge heavier in weight than others of same length and power ratings that incorporate the T1100G and M40X.
