p5 wind buster or steez 76 mml

this fall or winter im looking at getting a new rod, and its probably going to be one of these 2, the megabass destroyer p5 wind buster or the new steez 76 mml "the one". main use of the rod will be for 2.5-4" swimbaits (large size spread but hoping it feels ok with the 2.5 and excels at the 3.5-4") on a jig head. will also be used for free rigs, ned rigs and maybe some drop shot.

i have a p5 baby plugging and its been awesome, and if i got the wind buster i should be able to use it for small squarebills and jerkbaits (something like a strike king 1.0). i have always wated to try the 76 mml from the older steez ags, and have heard the new one is better, so im torn.

any insights?! thanks

good to know, i hadnt really considered the 71m (or other steez models)! i love my baby plugging, and have wanted a wind buster since i first saw it but im definitely not opposed to a better rod! thanks

If you buy a Steez AGS 7-6 you will be a happy camper.

Yes i have been super happy with the 71. Originally I didn't pay a lot of attention to the spinning models. I have the original 76 Steez, it's an amazing rod but at times i find the tip a touch soft. this 71m does what i want in a spinning rod. i also fish these for inshore so this 71 m is the rod for me, casts super far, sensitive, and so far so good catching a variety of fish. I have read reports about the new 76 being even better than the original so i don't think you can go wrong with either

I have the original 76 Steez, it's an amazing rod but at times i find the tip a touch soft.

The new 76mml solves this - tip is definitely crisper with faster recovery.

Still the original 76 is my goto spybait rod, fish just do not come off on that setup.

Oh man, I was trying to decide this too since I love my WindBuster. Ordered a 76MML AGS and now I just need to pick it up. Worst case scenario, just keep both? Aha.
