Let us know…I’d like to know if it’s the exact same spool as in the Zillion TW HD and how it compares to my ‘19 Morethan PE spool.
Will do. After I get some time on it in the Zillion, it's going in the Morethan PE.

Only got a few casts on it Saturday, 30lb braid on a Gen 1 7'3" MH Zillion throwing a jig and trailer about 1/2 oz. First impressions are this is an HLC spool, very stiff spring. I'll have to try some heavier weights.

How much does the spool weigh and how does it compare to zillion TW HD spool? Or do you not have that sport compare it with?

I didn't weigh it before I spooled it up but it's listed at 15g. I don't have the other spool to compare it to.

I just weighed the spool from my Zillion TW HD 1000 and it weighs 14.8 grams. I can’t wait to put it too work out on the water!

Has anyone tried this Mag-Z boost spool yet? How is it in relation to 22 zillion TW HD spool? I want the spool which will cast 3/4-1 oz aerodynamic baits (spoons, pencils etc) as far as possible in head-winds with some control. Don't want a spool that is "wild" and unpredictable on most casts. The spool will be on 21 Zillion SV TW JDM reel with a 9'6" rod and run with about 20 lb PE-line.

Is this spool specifically for distance casting?

That's what I'm trying to find out. My assumption is a spool more toward distance than the original Zillion sv tw 1000 SV Boost spool but not as much as an HLC spool. The latter is far from allround but rather distance specific for more compact baits as I understand it.

I don't understand the concept of this. A standard magz spool, in most cases, is already a long caster. They have stiff springs that retract the inductor reasonably quickly, allowing you to bomb baits pretty far. By having a two stage braking force, the 2nd spring is so stiff that the spool might be too wild, forcing you to put more brakes, and you won't cast further.

On SV spools this tech makes perfect sense because they feel overbraked, but magz spools don't, so i am not sure what kind of boost this gives.
