Here's my one and only bass of 2012. Work and school is taking a toll on me.

I just caught this Coosa spot last week. It's not a big one by any means but it sure was fun to catch. Got it on my Powell 683 spinning rod with a Symetre 3000 spooled with 10# P-Line Halo. I was using a custom color Baby Brushhog, greenpumpkin green & black flake. Tails dipped in Spike It.
I think I've posted this pic before to but I just had such a good time catching the thing. I was bass fishing and the bass were schooling in a big school of shad. I cast my 1/4oz scrounger head with a Zoom Fluke in baitfish color in the middle of the action and got this nice sized Stripe. Caught using a Powell 706 crankbait rod with a Citica 201E spooled with 10# P-Line CXX. It bent the hook a pretty good bit but it held long enough to land it. I would say the fish may be a 6 or 7 pounder. I know it's hard to tell from the pic but this thing was FAT.
