Wanted a glorious ever since the introductory thread in the jdm section. Said I'd never buy one. I just had to rethink the no warranty deal and realize I had never had a blank fail. I also had the busiest year of my life...new job and I just finished harvesting my largest grow to date. Here is the trunk of my jack herer tree...the biggest cannabis plant I've ever grown....or seen.
Where are the shimanos?

Re: Where are the shimanos?
My newest Shimano. My 1st 50 sized Shimano and 1st and only Curado e reel. I love the shape and size of this platform and the hinged side plate. Spool is surprisingly small diameter and light weight too. It is not very smooth though. It is no Alphas in smoothness but is more free feeling in the handle and spool. I've got a 09 Yumeya spool on the way for it. Plan on throwing 1/8 oz traps and other tiny hardbaits on it. My Teton was without a reel and I used this as an excuse to pick up a Scorpion 1000XT.

You’re never going to regret that spool
Beautiful set up btw.

Re: Where are the shimanos?
Thanks. I like these little reels and can see why they are so coveted. Any tips on smoothing them out or is that normal for these reels to buzz in your hand when palming and spinning the handle?

Re: Where are the shimanos?
You buzzin with the spool in or out? If the spool is installed when it’s buzzin, swap the pinion bearing for a new one. Those reels should be very smooth.

It feels like gear mesh. It feels like my SS SVs but slightly worse.
