What kind and test braid is that? Maybe the bright green is making it look that way but it seems very thick!!! Great looking reel. I have always wondered if they make a black end cap for knobs, I damaged a few early on before I got the proper tool to remove them.MountainMan 83 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 9:01 am7.9 J Dream with SV103 sideplates and a Zillion HLC spool. It's J Braid X8 65lb. Some knobs come stock with black plastic end caps or you can get aluminum ones from Hedgehog Studios.DirtyD64 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 08, 2022 3:27 amWhat kind and test braid is that? Thanks fellas.
Re: Lets see all them Daiwa's
I guess this is done for now. The handle with the red knob posts is stuck in China so this one is going into service this year like this. Excited to see how the zillion SV spool works with Magforce 3D. I hit the drag star and knobs with a fine sanding sponge to dull them to the same finish as the reel.

I'm really liking my new Tatula 80XH. I added a 90mm og Tatula handle with smooth black corks, a Ray's retainer & a black nut and a Steez CT stock drag star &
Steez SV TW stock cc cap. It has performed very well and is virtually indistinguishable from my Alphas SV TW. Did I mention I like it?

Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

Steez or not I think that nose piece really compliments the reel

I am starting to regret the 100mm handle, a regular or finesse size I knob would work, just hate to spend $40 for 2 knobs. I have a ton of the Zillion SVTW style I would trade off.
